On the morning of December 18th, 2022, long time resident of Log Lane Village Colorado, Darryl Klotzbach, awoke coughing and to the smell of smoke and yells from his family. He had his Daughter Cierra, sons Tony and Matthew along with his son in law, and 2 grandchildren ages 6 and 8 living in the home with him. A fire had started in the center of the home causing the family to evacuate, while doing so they attempted to rescue their beloved cats who unfortunately did not make it.
