Small Earthquake Confirmed Near Colorado-Utah Border

A small earthquake hit a rural area Saturday near the Colorado-Utah border, the University of Utah Seismograph Stations confirmed.

The magnitude 4.3 earthquake took place at 7:11 p.m on Saturday. The epicenter was 3 1/2 miles southwest of Bedrock, Colorado, and 18 miles east of La Sal, Utah, the agency said.

Residents of Bedrock and Moab, Utah, felt it.
