The Pig and the Plow grows from cottage roots to brick-and-mortar Fort Collins bakery

After opening in a Wellington shipping container, baking at night in Laporte's Me Oh My Pie shop, growing into its own commercial kitchen space and eventually finding a spot in Timnath's Colorado Feed & Grain market, The Pig and the Plow is finally home.

The cottage-born bakery moved into its first dedicated retail space earlier this year, opening at 140 Boardwalk Drive, Unit J — formerly home to Daddy Cakes Bakery — on Nov. 15.
