TAMPA -- The Florida Panthers had a feeling that the Tampa Bay Lightning would not go down without a fight.

But they certainly did not expect what happened Saturday.

The Lightning kept their season alive by scoring three goals in the first period. Then they withstood a heavy push in the final 40 minutes, winning 6-3 at Amalie Arena in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

TAMPA, Fla. — A man was arrested for pointing lasers at arriving planes in Tampa over the course of several months, according to police.

The Tampa Police Department said the suspect, 47-year-old Douglas Sollenberger, pointed lasers at more than 40 incoming flights at Tampa International Airport since Jan. 1.

Police said the lasers posed a serious danger to both pilots and passengers.
