Walz orders flags at half-staff Saturday, Sunday

ST. PAUL — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has ordered flags be flown at half-staff Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5.

In a Saturday morning proclamation, Walz named the weekend Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend.

St. Paul Man Faces Felony Contraband Charges In Sioux County

Orange City, Iowa — A St. Paul, Minnesota man has been arrested on felony contraband charges after a traffic stop on Highway 60 in Sioux County.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the Sioux County Clerk of Court’s Office by the Iowa State Patrol, 32-year-old Armando Gatica Bruno of St. Paul is accused of introducing contraband into a correctional facility. He was arrested on Monday.
