Avon Fire Department annual soup supper to be held Feb. 5

AVON-The Avon Fire Department will hold their annual soup supper Saturday, Feb. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Avon Fire Station, 105 Clinton Street. The department plans to serve vegetable and chili soups, along with vegetable trays and desserts at the upcoming event. There will also be a 50/50 drawing.

According to Avon Fire Chief, Frank Craver, a free will donation will be accepted.

"The money raised will go for speciality equipment for the department," Craver explained.
