CINCINNATI, Ohio - Junior Kaitlyn Prondzinski recorded 14 kills on a .323 hitting percentage to lead Illinois State in a five-set loss to Dayton on Saturday at Fifth Third Arena at Cincinnati.

After dropping the fourth set, Illinois State took a 4-1 lead in the fifth set, but a 6-2 Flyer run helped push Dayton to the five-set win. Dayton received votes in the AVCA preseason poll.
