Northwestern State releases Spring President’s List

Seven hundred and sixty-one students were named to the Spring 2020 President’s List at Northwestern State University. Students on the list earned a grade point average of 4.0. Several agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service and the Illinois State Police, continued their search Thursday for four inmates who busted out of a rural jail and are considered armed and dangerous.

Four inmates escaped Wednesday evening from the Fulton County Jail, located in west central Illinois, about 210 miles southwest of Chicago. Residents in nearby Lewistown, Illinois, were warned to remain locked in their homes early Thursday, as authorities canvassed the area, WMAQ-TV reported.
