Women's Cross Country Runs in Loaded Field, Finishes Fourth

In a loaded field, the eighth-ranked Hope College women's cross country team placed fourth out of 18 teams at the Wheaton College Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday.

Sixth-ranked University of Chicago won with 24 points. Ninth-ranked Washington University in St. Louis placed runner-up with 42 points. The University of St. Francis (Ill.), ranked No. 2 in NAIA, took third with 102 points — one fewer than the Flying Dutch.
