SPRINGFIELD, IL (09/30/2014)(readMedia)-- Thomas Watson of Kincaid, Illinois, assigned to Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) was promoted to the rank of chief warrant officer two during a promotion ceremony at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois, Sept. 29.

Watson enlisted in the Illinois National Guard's 3637th Maintenance Company as an automotive technician in November 1997. In 2004, he was hired full time with JFHQ as an administrative noncommissioned officer.

NTSB: Plane was 'running rough' prior to Evansville crash, pilot says

EVANSVILLE — The National Transportation and Safety Board released preliminary findings of its investigation into an Oct. 30 plane crash at an Evansville golf course, which so far has determined the plane likely suffered from engine trouble.
