Women’s Cross Country Inks Loafman, Doyle, and Thier

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill.- SIUE cross country Coach Josh Wolfe has announced three additions to the women's 2023 roster.

The Cougars have added Mia Loafman (Rogers, Arkansas), Riley Doyle (South Roxana, Illinois), and Ella Thier (High Ridge, Missouri) to the team.

Loafman joins the Cougars after running at Rogers High School. During her sophomore season, she was named Gatorade Athlete of the Year for women's cross country. She also placed 12th as a freshman, 2nd as a sophomore, and 21st as a junior in state competition. Loafm ... Read more

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) — Darius Burford had 20 points to guide Illinois State to a 77-71 victory over SIU Edwardsville on Saturday night.
