Lixil acquires Basco, calls it important step in growth strategy for Americas

Lixil Corp., a water and housing products company headquartered in Tokyo with its U.S. headquarters in Piscataway, announced Wednesday that it has acquired Basco, a U.S.-based shower door manufacturing company.

Terms of the deal were not announced.

The acquisition will enable the company to expand its kitchen and bath portfolio in the Americas, said Trey Northrup, leader, Lixil Americas.
