Investigative Journalist Phil Drechsler Says He’s Been Laid Off from KNBC

KNBC investigative journalist Phil Drechsler has announced he is no longer with the Los Angeles station after turning down the buyout at the end of last year.

CINCINNATI, OHIO — LaQuieta Reese, who was charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Gregory Jeffries, has been acquitted of all counts, according to reports.

The 36-year-old woman was indicted in March of last year on charges of murder and felonious assault in relation to the shooting that took place in the previous month.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the shooting was the result of an argument between Reese and Jeffries, and Jeffries was reportedly shot twice.
