New sidewalks scheduled for two New Boston streets

ATLANTA, Texas -- New sidewalks will be constructed along sections of Elm Street and Lion Drive in New Boston, Texas, next year according to plans approved in October by the Texas Department of Transportation.

"Federal money is providing much of the funding for the new sidewalks, and TxDOT will be overseeing the construction work," said Tommy Bruce, area engineer for TxDOT in Texarkana.
