Tyson Foods to pay $221.5 million to settle some chicken price-fixing claims

(Reuters) - Tyson Foods Inc said on Wednesday it will pay $221.5 million to settle litigation by three groups of plaintiffs that accused it of illegally conspiring to inflate chicken prices.

The settlements with so-called "end-user" consumers, commercial purchasers, and purchasers that bought chickens directly from Tyson require approval by a federal judge in Chicago.

New chief administrator named at Arkansas Children’s Northwest

According to the hospital system, Dr. Rustin Morse is the new chief administrator at Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) in Springdale. He will begin in July after relocating his family from Columbus, Ohio.

Morse has two decades of experience in pediatric health system leadership roles, including chief quality officer and chief medical officer. He replaces Shannon Hendrix, who departed in January.
