The United States Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona has announced the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars and Folsom resident Penelope Oliver is amongst the list of 161 high school seniors being recognized for their accomplishments in academics, the arts, and career and technical education.

Which bands are marching in the 2024 Indy 500 Festival Parade? Here's the list

The list of bands gearing up for the 500 Festival Parade is out.

The May 25 parade through downtown Indianapolis will feature bands from across the U.S. as well as floats, giant balloons, celebrities and all 33 drivers competing in the Indy 500.

This is the 68th year for the annual event, part of the 500 Festival. It typically sees more than 200,000 spectators line its 1.5-mile route.

These 15 bands are marching in the 2024 500 Festival Parade:
