Jordan was drafted by the Red Sox in the third round of the 2020 MLB Amateur Draft out of the DeSoto Central High School in Southaven, Mississippi. In his first season in the system, he played for the Red Sox rookie ball team and Single-A Salem, he combined to play in 28 games, and he hit .324 with a .959 OPS; he had eight doubles, a triple, six home runs, 26 RBI, 19 runs scored, one stolen base, and eight walks.
