When something disastrous happens at sea, fishermen have only seconds to make a series of decisions to determine the outcome. Training for these events can increase the likelihood of survival.

South Portland residents will vote June 11 on a $69.4 million school budget, up nearly 5% from this year’s.

Roughly $52.9 million will be funded through taxes, a 3.8% increase over this year.
