Our view: Alexandria right to pursue options ahead of Intel

Intel's impending arrival has already lead to massive changes across Licking County before ground has even formally been broken for construction on the $20 billion microchip processing facility.

The looming development has caused some to throw up their hands in frustration for how it will alter their landscape. We are encouraged it appears officials in Alexandria are trying to make the best of the situation.

Pennsylvania man killed in two-vehicle crash on I-70 near Kirkersville

A Pennsylvania man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near Kirkersville.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers were called to a crash on Interstate 70 westbound near Ohio 158 around 8:21 a.m. Monday.

The agency said Jeffrey A. King, Jr., 37, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was driving a 2018 Ram Pro-Master Cargo Van westbound on Interstate 70 west of Ohio 158. Anthony McCartney, 51, of Newark, was driving a 2012 Chrysler 200 westbound on Interstate 70.
