Head-on crash reported on US 30

VAN WERT COUNTY —Van Wert County Sheriff Thomas M. Riggenbach announced deputies are investigating a 2 vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday June 14th. Sheriff Riggenbach stated that his Office received a 911 call at 3:07pm advising of a crash on US 30 East of Dutch John Road.

A 2004 Dodge Neon, driven by Carey A. Waltz, age 54 of Van Wert and a 2015 Ford Truck, driven by Mark Perisot, of Cecil, Ohio, were involved in the crash.
