Building connections

Building connections through the area is an important part of the job for Erikka Storch.

She’s the executive director of Project BEST and it’s what brought her to Scaffidi’s Restaurant and Tavern in Steubenville Tuesday afternoon.

The nonprofit organization was created in 1984, she explained, as a joint effort of the Upper Ohio Valley Building and Construction Trades Council and the Upper Ohio Valley Employers Council. It’s a job she’s held for a little more than a year.
