Most people in Ohio cross rivers and lakes on bridges. The rest do it mostly on ferries.

On Lake Erie three ferries bridge the water. Two with massive, car-hauling vessels powered by multiple diesel engines. Another carries foot traffic only, speeding on massive catamarans powered by Deutz diesel water jets.
