Woman killed in I-275 crash struck multiple times; northbound lanes reopen

A woman killed Friday morning in a crash on Interstate 275 north near State Route 125 was struck multiple times after her vehicle stalled in the middle of traffic, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Bobbie Jo Beckelhymer, 43, of Moscow, Ohio, was driving in the middle lane of I-275 when her Saturn became disabled and stopped in the roadway, troopers said in a news release.

Troopers say Beckelhymer turned on her hazard lights and had exited her vehicle when she and the Saturn were struck by a GMC van.
