Shaker Heights court bailiff accused of drunken driving in Newburgh Heights

NEWBURGH HEIGHTS, Ohio - A Shaker Heights Municipal Court bailiff is charged with suspicion of drunken driving in a Saturday incident in Newburgh Heights.

Jerome A. Sheppard, 43, of South Euclid, is also charged with an open container violation and speeding after being pulled over at 1:19 a.m. on Interstate 77, police said.

His arraignment is scheduled Wednesday in Garfield Heights Municipal Court.
