Coal truck overturns on Ohio 7, traffic blocked

POWHATAN POINT — Ohio 7 north near Powhatan Point was shut down Tuesday afternoon for several hours following the collision of a coal truck with another vehicle.

The crash occurred north of Powhatan Point at Milepost 6.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a southbound Chevy Silverado pickup truck operated by Barry Hill, 53, of Powhatan Point went left of center and struck a tractor-trailer owned by HLC Trucking and driven by Steven Hartley, 46, of Follansbee.
