Salem veteran gets seat at State of the Union, says president ‘owned the floor’

Rosy Macias confesses to having little interest in politics but she recently found herself at what she described as the Super Bowl of politics – the State of Union Address.

“It was a once-in-a-lifetime event,” said Macias. “Eye opening.”

TACOMA, Wash. -- Willamette University men's swimmer Cole Lindberg (Jr., Moses Lake, WA/Moses Lake Christian Academy) won the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly as the Bearcats took on Pacific Lutheran University on Friday, Nov. 3 on the PLU campus.
