Rutgers men's soccer beats Wisconsin, remains unbeaten in September

The Rutgers men’s soccer team earned its first shutout win of the season in a 2-0 victory against Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday night. The Scarlet Knights (5-1-2, 2-0-0) are now unbeaten through six straight games and remain undefeated in Big Ten play.

The scoring got started in the 16th minute when junior midfielder Jason Bouregy scored a goal on a nice touch pass from senior forward MD Myers inside the box to give Rutgers a 1-0 lead.

This Friday night, the Rutgers men’s soccer team will be in Madison, Wisconsin, to take on Wisconsin. The Scarlet Knights (4-1-2, 1-0-0) are coming off of a five-game homestand in which they went unbeaten with two ties and three wins.
