Man arrested in Carlsbad murder case

One man is dead and another is behind bars after a fatal shooting in Carlsbad.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call in the 11000 block of Marshall Street in Carlsbad on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, where a man in his 20s was found shot and killed.

Investigators identified Justin Ray Ramirez as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with murder, according to a sheriff's office news release.
