A year after BancorpSouth and Cadence Bancorporation agreed to merge, Grand Bank of Texas, 9650 FM 2147 in Horseshoe Bay, was renamed Cadence Bank. Courtesy photo

ROUND MOUNTAIN, Texas — Numbers from the National Fire Protection Association show that as of 2018, volunteer firefighters made up more than two-thirds of all firefighters in the country.
