AREA PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Padron leads Big Spring to fourth straight win

Junior quarterback Gavin Padron made sure to help the Big Spring football team get off to a good start against Snyder on Friday.

Padron threw for four touchdown passes in the first half to build a 27-7 lead and then the Steers held off a Tiger rally for a 27-24 victory, the fourth straight for Big Spring.
