Archer City ISD lockdown lifted, students safe and secure

ARCHER CITY, Texas (KAUZ) - Archer City ISD has given the all-clear, after reports of possible shots fired in a neighborhood nearby forced school officials to lockdown all campuses.

The gunshots turned out to be a blown transformer near the school, according to ACISD officials.

Nonprofit renovating oldest standing building in Seymour

Built 143 years ago, it is now a private home but is considered a historic part of the Texoma town. A nonprofit organization is behind the renovation.
