Lady Hawks rally to win final three games, area match in five

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas -- Pleasant Grove rallied from down two sets to win its Class 4A area match over Sunnyvale.

The Lady Hawks found their rhythm on defense and stymied the Lady Raiders to the tune of 17-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-14, 15-10 Saturday at Mount Pleasant's Willie Williams Gym.

Adi Koller smashed nine kills and had three blocks and 16 digs for PG (33-9), Julianne Naples had eight kills, Reese Gibbs added six kills, 11 assists and two blocks, and Madison Carpenter contributed five kills, 23 digs and a block.
