WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Multiple agencies responded to extinguish a blaze at a strip mall in West Valley City Thursday evening.

Crews responded to the area after reports of a fire at the El Pollo Royo restaurant in the strip mall located at 4000 West.

The fire quickly escalated to a three-alarm situation, resulting in evacuations and major damage.
