Crash in Vernon closes Highway 36

VERNON, Utah — Airmed responded to a three-vehicle crash that closed Highway 36 Sunday.

According to Utah Highway Patrol, the crash occurred near Mile Post 19 at around 2:19 p.m.

A vehicle struck a trailer, causing it to flip and spin out. Following this, the trailer was struck by an additional oncoming vehicle.

UHP reports minor injuries to everyone involved except for the first vehicle to hit the trailer. Additionally, it says one person had to be extracted from their vehicle. They were flown by Airmed ... Read more
