Beacon Roofing: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

HERNDON, Va. (AP) _ Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (BECN) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $154.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the Herndon, Virginia-based company said it had profit of $1.95. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2.25 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.10 per share.
