$New barbecue joint puts flavors of Tex-Mex border near the Canadian border$

ENOSBURG FALLS – This remote town in northern Franklin County has never been known as a dining destination. That may change now that a barbecue joint is drawing out-of-towners as well as locals.

What is the place?

A 50-seat eatery called 242 Texas BBQ opened Nov. 16 on the main drag in Enosburg Falls, a tiny and tidy town a short jaunt from the Canadian border. The barbecue restaurant decorated inside with Texas license plates and longhorns reflects the cuisine from another border — the Tex-Mex border.
