Clemmer paces women's field, Butturff bests men again at 2023 Team USA Trials

Las Vegas – Friday’s fourth day of competition produced a combination of something old and something new for the spectators taking in the action at the 2023 Team USA Trials at Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.

The old was Jakob Butturff of Tempe, Arizona, topping the men’s field for the second time in four days, this time thanks to a 1,440 block total.

All clear at Naval Base Kitsap-Keyport following suspicious package lockdown

A lockdown at Naval Base Kitsap-Keyport, Washington, ended around 5:15 p.m. local time, officials said in a statement.

The base went into lockdown around 2 p.m. “after an individual approached the main gate with a possible explosive device found during a vehicle inspection,” base officials said.

The vehicle’s driver was taken into custody and is being questioned by Navy security forces.
