American Officials Well Represented at IIHF Events This Season

Peter Schlittenhardt, JP Waleski and Riley Yerkovich served at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship in Moncton and Halifax, Canada from December 26, 2022 to January 5, 2023. Schlittenhardt and Waleski were both on the ice at the 2022 Under-18 Men’s World Championship, while this marked the first “A” pool event for Yerkovich.

Memorial Day parades planned in South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough

Memorial Day Parades and other observances will be held Monday in South Portland, Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth.

South Portland’s parade will start from the Southern Maine Community College parking lot at the north end of Broadway at 10:30. It will travel down Broadway to the Veteran’s Monument, across the street from Frank I. Brown Middle School, in Mill Creek Park where a recognition service will take place.
